Tech Lighting Wins Three Lightfair Awards

Chicago based Tech Lighting walked away from the LIGHTFAIR International Innovation Awardsas one of the big winners for 2011 . The LIGHTFAIR International Innovation Awards honors lighting industry innovations for lighting-related products and designs. Each product was judged by a panel of renowned lighting professionals. Tech Lighting's ELEMENT LED Adjustable Downlight won Best In Category for Downlights, Wallwashers and Accent Lights and there IBISS LED Head not only won BEST IN Category for Track, Low-Voltage, Cable and Rail Systems category, it also won this years Design Excellence Award which honors one product for outstanding achievement in design and application. "LED has come a long way in the past several years," says Josh Weiss, General Manager of Tech Lighting. "we have fully embraced what is possible with the latest technology. Instead of simply integrating LED into the form of a traditional head, we celebrated what was possible with LED to create a design that never would have been achievable without the advent of LED."
